Use New Budget Tool to Provide Input to Mayor and Tucson City Council

The City of Tucson created a new Participatory Budget Tool in English and Spanish to provide a summary of the budget and gather public input. Community members can assign discretionary funds to different areas of the City’s budget.

The Mayor and Tucson City Council will review the feedback from this process, Budget Town Hall meetings, and the city manager's recommendation prior to adopting the FY21 Budget. The full recommended budget has been posted on the City’s website, and a public hearing will be held tonight, July 7, and July 21 on the Tentative Budget before adoption of the Final Budget.

Individuals wishing to speak during the public hearings (subject to technological availability) can join the meeting via teleconference. You must submit a written request to It's too late to comment during tonight's public hearing, but you have until noon on July 21 to request to speak at the next one. Both public hearings take place during the 5:30 p.m. Mayor and Council meetings.
