The United Way of Tucson and Southern Arizona is asking for volunteers to help in its Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program, which provides free tax preparation to low-to-moderate-income Arizonans.
Volunteers are needed to serve as greeters, interview specialists, interpreters, and tax preparers during the 2016 tax season. No experience is necessary, and there will be free training. You can apply online to volunteer.
