Those who want to participate in Arizona's March 22 Presidential Preference Election must be registered to vote by midnight on Feb. 22. Voters must register with the same political party affiliation as the presidential candidate for whom they wish to vote. The political parties participating in the election are the Democratic Party, the Republican Party and the Green Party. Arizona’s Open Primary law does not apply to the Presidential Preference Election, but those registered as Independent or Party Not Designated can vote if they re-register with one of the three parties.
Voters with a valid Arizona driver license or identification card issued by the Motor Vehicle Division may register or change their party affiliation online and then change back after the election.
