- Splash pad rules are posted at each splash pad site
- Splash pad rules may be tailored to each site according to the amenities available
- Splash pad rules are enforced by staff at all times
- Babies and children who are not toilet trained are required to wear tight-fitting, waterproof pants
ENJOY THE SPLASH PAD BASH AT MARTY BIRDMAN CENTER - Join Tucson Parks and Recreation for the Splash Pad Bash at Marty Birdman Center, 2536 N. Castro Ave., on Saturday, April 15, from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Come splash in the Naida Jane Baker Splash Pad and enjoy free popcorn, snow cones, a raffle with prizes, music, "Ready, Set, Rec!" and a jumping castle. This event is free and open to the public.

As a resident of Balboa Heights for more than 40 years, Naida Jane Baker has been an unwavering advocate for children and families in the area. Ms. Baker worked with the Ward 3 staff and the Friends of Marty Birdman Center to advocate for and to receive funding for building the splash pad in Balboa Heights Park. Ms. Baker received the Jefferson Award, a national honor for individuals who demonstrate the highest ideals and achievements in public service, and she served as the Balboa Heights Neighborhood Association President for more than 20 years.
