While our offices are not currently open to the public, we have been using this time to create a new center for development permits in Tucson. Renovations on the first floor of the Public Works building are nearly complete.
The new Tucson Development Center brings four City departments into a one-stop shop for people seeking building permits. After public offices are allowed to reopen to the public next year, applicants will be able to speak with staff from Planning and Development Services as well as Tucson Water, Transportation and Mobility, and Tucson Fire all in one location. This will streamline the permitting process, allowing customers to visit one location to get information and submit applications for water meters, right of way permits, fire prevention permits, and building permits.
We look forward to welcoming you to the Tucson Development Center!
