The City of Tucson has retained BerryDunn to conduct an independent analysis of the Planning and Development Services Department (PDSD) and develop a 2024 Vision. This project will involve developing a roadmap for PDSD and recommending best practices in policy, process, and level of service, funding, technology, and personnel, and identifying the barriers and challenges to implementing recommendations.
A key part of this project involves collecting input from PDSD customers. A Social Pinpoint site has been created to collect public input. This site includes a survey and an idea wall to collect input on current challenges, opportunities, and improvement for a vision for PDSD. This site will be updated as the project progresses. The City’s consultant, BerryDunn, is requesting input by December 31, 2021.
