Governance & Participation
Plan Tucson supports informed and productive public engagement through a range of policies that call for opportunities to engage early in planning processes, use of multiple and accessible methods of communication and participation, emphasis on reaching traditionally underrepresented populations, accessible data and documentation, and regular and on-going opportunities for meaningful engagement. These policies also promote better internal coordination, strong regional and local partnerships, and balanced multi-jurisdictional planning as keys to effective governance.
