This year’s All Souls Procession will be held on Sunday, November 5, 2017 beginning at 6 p.m. The route begins on Grande Avenue south of Speedway Boulevard, proceeds south to St Mary’s Road, where it turns left toward Bonita Avenue. On Bonita Avenue, it turns south and proceeds to Congress Street and the Finale grounds.
There are limited parking lot spots available at the gathering point (Grande and Speedway) and in surrounding neighborhoods. The public is asked not to park in Barrio Hollywood, Menlo Park, or other neighborhoods near the Procession.
The easiest parking plan to minimize walking is to park downtown, take SunTran from the Ronstadt Transit Center to the Procession route, walk the route, and then take the SunLink streetcar back downtown. SunTran will be offering additional service running every five minutes from 3:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. from the Ronstadt Transit Center to two blocks from the Procession starting point. In addition, Hotel Congress will be running a shuttle from their “Face Paint Event” at the hotel to the Procession Route.
City Parking Garages that will be open 24/7 this weekend include:
- Centro, located at 345 E. Congress St.
- Depot Plaza, located at 45 N. 5th Ave.
- Library, located at 45 W. Alameda St.
- City-State, located at 498 W. Congress St.
City Parking Lots include:
- Toole Lot (201 E. Toole Ave.), Triangle Lot (225 E. Pennington St.), Warehouse District Lot (180 E. 7th St.), Franklin Lot (50 W. Franklin St.) and Lots A, B, and C at the Tucson Convention Center.
Sun Tran Routes 22, 21, 3, and 5 all intersect the Procession route. Routes 22, 21, and 3 leave the downtown Ronstadt Transit Center and run toward the Procession.
If you plan to ride the Sun Link Streetcar and Sun Tran, we strongly suggest purchasing your Sun Link pass and your SunGO card online ahead of time.
