Repaving of this section of Alvernon Way is scheduled to begin on Monday, March 7, 2016. The milling and repaving work is scheduled to be complete by Tuesday, March 15, 2016. Crews will work Monday through Friday, from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. During this work at least one travel lane in each direction will be maintained
Once the paving work is complete, crews will adjust the manhole covers and water valve covers flush with the new asphalt. Work hours for the utility adjustments are 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Travel lane restrictions for up to 24 hours will be in place following the utility adjustments to allow concrete around the manhole and water valve covers to properly dry.
Business and residential access will be maintained at all times during the project, except for when heavy equipment is directly in front of a driveway. The traveling public can expect delays when driving, bicycling and walking in the work area. Please obey all traffic control signs and watch for construction personnel and equipment in the work area.
