On Thursday, November 12, 2015, as part of the Campbell Avenue Streetscape Enhancement Project, crews from Mountain Power will replace the traffic signals and traffic signal poles at the Campbell Avenue and Glenn Street intersection.
Tucson Police Department officers will direct traffic through the intersection from 10:30 a.m. to noon. One southbound travel lane on Campbell Avenue and one eastbound lane on Glenn Street at the intersection will be closed during the work.
Also on Thursday, November 12, 2015, crews from Santa Rita Landscaping will be working in the medians on Campbell Avenue. From 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., the northbound, inside lane on Campbell Avenue will be closed between Grant Road and Fort Lowell Road for this work.
Pima Paving, the General Contractor for this project, is scheduled to complete the enhancement project prior to the Thanksgiving Holiday.
The project is part of the $2.1 billion RTA plan which will be implemented through 2026. The multimodal plan, nearly halfway through implementation, includes roadway, safety, transit, environmental and economic vitality improvements. This project is managed by the City of Tucson.
