ROAD RECOVERY

CAMPBELL AVENUE - FT. LOWELL ROAD TO GLENN STREET

RESURFACING PROJECT

On Monday, January 4, 2016, crews from Sunland Asphalt, under contract with the City of Tucson Department of Transportation (TDOT), will begin work to improve the pavement conditions on Campbell Avenue from Ft. Lowell Road to Glenn Street.

Mill and paving work hours will be Monday through Friday from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. commencing on Monday, January 4, 2016. Paving is scheduled to be complete on Thursday, January 7, 2016 followed by striping and utility adjustments. Work is scheduled to be complete by Thursday, January 14, 2016. Electronic message boards will be in place to alert motorists of this upcoming work. The above schedule is subject to change due to inclement weather.

This pavement improvement project is part of the $100 million, five-year street bond program – Road Recovery. The Road Recovery program is funded by voter-approved bonds.

Residential and business access will be maintained at all times during the project, except for when heavy equipment is directly in front of a driveway. Please obey all traffic control signs and watch for construction personnel and equipment in these work areas. The schedule is subject to change due to equipment malfunction or inclement weather.
