On Friday, October 31, 2014, the City of Tucson Department of Transportation (TDOT) will close both the eastbound and the westbound median island travel lanes at 5900 E. Broadway, in front of Park Place Mall, to remove a dead Eucalyptus tree located in the median island. The closure will take place from 4:30 a.m. to approximately 6:30 a.m. tomorrow. The lane closures will be approximately 200 feet long on each side of where the work is taking place.
The Groundskeeper, under contract with TDOT, will be performing the work. Motorists are advised to please obey all traffic control signs and watch for personnel and equipment in the work area.
