Beginning Monday, January 6, 2020, Pace Electrical, under contract with the City of Tucson Transportation Department, will begin work to install a HAWK pedestrian crossing signal at the intersection of Speedway Boulevard and Richey Avenue.
During the work, two lanes of travel will be maintained in each direction on Speedway Boulevard. There will be no travel impacts to Richey Avenue.
Crews will work Monday through Thursday from 6:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. each day. The schedule is subject to change due to inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances. This project is scheduled to be complete in February 2020.
The traveling public can expect delays when driving in this work area. Please obey all traffic control signs and watch for construction personnel in the area.
