Repair Work Complete on Sentinel Peak Road to "A" Mountain

On Monday, October 9, 2017, at 8 a.m., Sentinel Peak Road to “A” Mountain will reopen to motor vehicles, bicyclists and pedestrians. City of Tucson Department of Transportation (TDOT) crews have completed drainage improvements, built retaining walls, repaired the erosion to the roadway shoulders and resurfaced the parking on the mountain.

The roadway has been closed for several weeks following severe rains in early August. During the closure, TDOT crews also crack sealed Sentinel Peak Road.
