Grant Road Repaving - Santa Rita Avenue to Columbus Boulevard

On Thursday, April 2, 2015, Granite Construction, under contract with the City of Tucson Department of Transportation (TDOT), will begin repaving Grant Road from Santa Rita Avenue to Columbus Boulevard. Crews will begin the project by milling (removing asphalt) eastbound Grant Road working from Santa Rita Avenue to Columbus Boulevard. Once work crews reach Columbus Boulevard, they will begin milling westbound Grant Road from Columbus Boulevard to Santa Rita Avenue.

Pantano Road - Escalante Road to Irvington Road Reconstruction Project

On Tuesday, March 31, 2015, crews from Southern Arizona Paving and Construction Co., under contract with the City of Tucson Department of Transportation, will begin a reconstruction project on Pantano Road from Escalante Road to Irvington Road. Crews will work Monday through Friday from 6:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. The project is scheduled to be complete by mid July 2015.

Fourth Avenue Street Fair Sun Link Streetcar Temporary Route Adjustments

Fourth Avenue will be the host of the annual Fourth Avenue Spring Street Fair this weekend. The Fourth Avenue Spring Street Fair begins on Friday, March 20, 2015 and is open daily through Sunday, March 22, 2015, from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. Attendance for the Street Fair is estimated to be approximately 300,000 people, so please adjust travel plans accordingly.

On Wednesday, March 18, 2015, crews from Sunland Asphalt, under contract with the City of Tucson Department of Transportation (TDOT), will begin work to improve the pavement conditions on Flowing Wells Road between Roger Road and Miracle Mile.
Crews will begin the project by lowering manhole covers and water valve covers. Lowering the utility covers is scheduled to be complete by Friday, March 20, 2015. Work will take place from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. each day.
Benson Highway - Irvington Road to Interstate 10 Resurfacing Project

On Monday, March 9, 2015, crews from Sunland Asphalt, under contract with the City of Tucson Department of Transportation (TDOT), will begin work to improve the pavement conditions on Benson Highway from Irvington Road to Interstate 10.
Crews will begin the project by lowering manhole covers and water valve covers. Lowering the utility covers is expected to take one day to complete. Work will take place from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.
