Get in Full Holiday Spirit by Riding Transit to Weekend Events

Sun Tran buses or the Sun Link streetcar offer transit options for Tucsonans attending 2nd Saturdays on Saturday, December 13 or the 4th Avenue Street Fair from Friday, December 12 through 14.

The Sun Link streetcar will be in service during the 4th Avenue Street Fair and will debut two holiday streetcars to help get riders into the spirit. Sun Link streetcar stops at 4th Ave/9th Street and University Blvd./3rd Ave. are conveniently located at either end of the Street Fair providing convenient access to the event from the many parking options available along the streetcar alignment. Two streetcar stops –  Fourth Avenue/ Fourth Street and Fourth Avenue/Seventh Street – will not be in service starting at 1p.m. on Thursday, December 11through end of day Sunday, due to the street fair, but passengers will be able to bypass closures with available bus shuttles.

Passengers can purchase a 1-Day Ticket at $4 at any one of the streetcar stops or at the Ronstadt Transit Center downtown. Sun Link riders are encouraged to purchase a SunGO 1-Day Ticket before an event to help avoid wait times. To pay-by-the-ride, riders can purchase a SunGO Card and load cash value online at, at any sales outlet or at the transit centers. Plan ahead when making online purchases.
