Travel restrictions due to Downtown events

Several downtown streets will be closed this weekend to accommodate numerous events in Downtown Tucson.

Saturday, October 3, 2015

8 a.m. to 5 p.m. - Stone Avenue will be closed to vehicles from Ochoa Street to Cushing Street (14th Street)

8 a.m. to 5 p.m. – McCormick Street will be closed to vehicles from Stone Avenue to Church Avenue

8 a.m. to midnight – Scott Avenue will be closed to vehicles from McCormick Street to 14th Street

5 p.m. to midnight – Stone Avenue will be closed to vehicles from Ochoa Street to McCormick Street

Please note that pedestrian and bicycle access is being maintained in and around the road closures. Businesses, parking garages and parking lots are open and accessible. There are over 15,000 available parking spaces in the Downtown Tucson.

Motorists driving in the downtown area may experience traffic delays so please plan accordingly. The traveling public should use caution when driving, bicycling or walking in these areas. Please watch for event participants, obey all traffic control, and watch for detour signs and personnel providing traffic control.
