The bank protection project on East Wrightstown Road scheduled for Friday, December 5, 2014, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., has been postponed due to inclement weather. Crews from the City of Tucson Department of Transportation Streets and Traffic Maintenance Division will conduct the bank protection work when the saturated wash bank has dried out. The work will take place on the south side of East Wrightstown Road between Sarnoff Drive and Camino Seco.
When the work begins, the eastbound travel lane on Wrightstown Road at this location will be closed to travel. Since Wrightstown Road is one travel lane in each direction at this location, motorists will use one travel lane for both eastbound and westbound travel. Flaggers will be present to help direct traffic through the work zone.
