Ward 2 Parks Programs

Carol West Senior Addition: The Carol West Senior Addition at Udall features multipurpose rooms, lounge area with TV, computer adult learning center and pool tables. It is located at Udall Park and is open from 9 am to 4 pm Monday thru Friday.

Swim Lessons: Tucson Parks and Recreation, in partnership with the American Red Cross, to offer $2 swim lessons to those who qualify. For details, call 791-2877 or visit tucsonaz.gov/parks

Pickleball: What is pickleball? It's a sport with paddles, a wiffle ball, and a net, and you can play it at a few Parks and Recreation centers in Tucson and even sign up for a class. The next schedule of classes are published in the Activity Guide for fall 2018/spring 2019. 

Arts & Craft Fair Space Available: Applications are available for artists who wish to participate in the Holiday Arts & Crafts Fair on Nov. 24-25 at Reid Park, west of DeMeester Outdoor Performance Center. This event has been held for more than three decades, attracting in more than 130 vendors from all over the Southwest. We are looking for artists, crafters, photographers, painters, potters, jewelers, and more to sell their original artwork. All items must be handmade - no mass-produced, store-bought, resale, or imported items. All applications are subject to approval.

Registration is now open. The fee is $90 for a 10’ x 10’ arts and craft vendor space for the two-day event.
