Brianda Torres-Traylor

Brianda graduated from the University of Washington in Seattle with a Bachelor of Arts in Social Geography. Her passion for community led her to join AmeriCorps in 2012, relocating to Tucson as a VISTA with the Arizona Refugee Resettlement Program and La Frontera Center. She worked primarily at Doolen Middle School, coordinating programs and services for refugee, ELL, and homeless youth. Brianda joined the Ward 3 office in March 2014, and has since focused on projects and policy related to housing and community development, neighborhoods, parks, art, and bike-ped issues.
