Did You Know...?

…the Moon is becoming accessible at last?  Phase one of the accessible pathways project at Valley of the Moon is complete, just in time for the Halloween run of "Harry Potter and the Haunted Ruins"! Stabilized decomposed granite pathways have been installed all the way from the parking lot (two van accessible spaces included) to the entrance to the historic grounds.  This is a historic improvement to a historic property, and Ward 3 offers congratulations and good wishes with the fund-raising for the second phase, which will make all the grounds fully accessible.  Well done!
Valley of the Moon is located at 2544 E Allen Road. For more information about programming, go to http://www.tucsonvalleyofthemoon.com/event-calendar

Thank you!

Thank you to Angel’s Landscaping, TPD Westside Division, and our neighbors from Mountain/1st, Flowing Wells and Hedrick Acres who worked hard to clean-up the alley at 1st Ave & Copper last Saturday! We cannot thank you enough for all you did to clear weeds and garbage and improve the overall appearance of this troubled spot. We especially appreciate Angel’s Landscaping for joining us - their expertise and commitment to community made such a difference.
