Save the Date: Open House
I hope you all had a safe and fun holiday season with your loved ones. It is a privilege to serve as your Council Member and I look forward to getting to work in 2020 to tackle the many challenges we face as a city and nation.
I hope you’ll save the date for our annual open house on Thursday, January 30th from 5:30-7 pm. It’ll be at the Ward 3 office, located at 1510 E Grant Road. As in previous years, we’ll have great food, representatives from city departments and my staff on hand to answer questions. I hope to see many of you there.

Happy New Year!

- Paul D.
Pet of the Week
Sedona has been at PACC since last Spring. She is a beautiful tortie with a distinctive mask and silky soft fur. Next month she will turn 5 years old and, while her foster family takes good care of her and showers her with love, she really wants to spend her birthday in her forever home. She is ready!
The volunteers at Pima Animal Care Center can answer any questions you may have or you can email for more information about Sedona and to set up a meet and greet.

Ward 3 will be hosting the 15th annual Grecycle event. Did you know that pouring even small amounts of cooking grease or oil can damage plumbing resulting in costly repairs? Bringing your grease to a recycling drop off site gives Grecycle the opportunity to turn it into biodiesel which is a cleaner burning fuel. This is another way that Tucsonans can reduce their dependence on crude oil, protect the environment and promote sustainability.
