TUCSON, Ariz. –Ride Sun Tran buses or the Sun Link streetcar to 2nd Saturdays Downtown on Valentine’s Day, Saturday, February 14, a convenient and cost-effective travel option.
Several Sun Tran bus routes serve the downtown area. Please note if riding Sun Tran to weekend events, some routes discontinue service prior to events ending. Please call customer service or visit suntran.com for trip planning assistance.

The cost to ride Sun Tran is $1.50 one-way for full fare passengers, 50 cents one-way for seniors 65 years and older, Medicare cardholders, disabled persons and low-income individuals with a SunGO ID & Card.

Sun Link riders are encouraged to purchase a SunGO 1-Day Ticket before the event at any Fry’s Food Stores or other sales locations to help avoid wait times. The 1-Day SunGO Ticket can also be purchased for $4 at any one of the streetcar stops or at the Ronstadt Transit Center downtown. To pay-by-the-ride, riders can purchase a SunGO Card and load cash value online at www.suntran.com, at any sales outlet or at the transit centers. Plan ahead when making online purchases.
For riders interested in riding transit to more than just Second Saturdays, a 7-Day Pass is currently available through May 2015. A new SunGO Card with a 7-Day Pass costs $15 ($13 when loaded to an existing SunGO Card) and can be purchased online, at Ticket Vending Machines at the City of Tucson’s three transit centers and at select sales locations. Cash fares are not accepted once on the streetcar. SunGO is valid on Sun Link, Sun Tran and select Sun Shuttle routes.
Sun Tran and the Sun Link streetcar accept all SunGO products, which provide easy transfers between the transit systems. Children five years of age and younger ride Sun Tran and Sun Link free with a paying passenger.
