Tucson Conserve to Enhance (C2E) is accepting grant applications from local organizations seeking to improve the community with water-harvesting and habitat restoration projects.
Enhance your neighborhood wash or green spaces to reduce flooding, create habitat, and improve the health of our watershed. Awards are up to $10,000.
This year, C2E is prioritizing projects that benefit important riparian areas and urban washes, while emphasizing partnerships, long-term stewardship, and community access to green space.
We’ve simplified the application for 2017 with a two-step process. Submit your two-page “Step 1” application by May 31, 2017, for consideration. If your project is selected to proceed, you will be invited to submit a more complete “Step 2” application for evaluation. Download the application here.
Need help with your application? Then attend the free Grant Workshop on Tuesday, May 2, from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. in the Ward 6 Community Room, 3202 E. 1st St. Staff will explain the goals of the C2E program and the C2E grant process, as well as offer application guidance. Please RSVP to Tucson@conserve2enhance.org.
