Tucson Water updated the Standard Specifications and Details Manual in 2017. The 2011 version is still available as hard copy only at the Tucson Water Construction office, 310 W. Alameda St.
The Tucson Water Standard Specifications and Details Manual provides utility contractors the construction and approved material information on installation of potable and reclaimed water infrastructure that will become part of the Tucson Water public water delivery system. The manual helps ensure that the installation of the new water infrastructure meets or exceeds all industry standards and ensures that the public water system maintains compliance with applicable water quality and delivery standards. Tucson Water publishes regular updates to these specifications as outlined in the Engineering Directives.
Construction shall conform to these standards and to the water plans approved by Tucson Water. If you have questions or require additional information on the Standard Specifications and Details Manual, contact the Tucson Water Construction office at 520-791-2665 .
