Flu Shots 2014

CIGNA enrollees: 2014 Flu Shots

UPDATE: Price Amphitheater Flu Clinic has been canceled due to low appointment numbers.  Price Building 6 will still hold the clinic scheduled on October 29 for employees with scheduled appointments.  Depending upon availability, some WALK-INs may be accepted between 4:30-5 PM at the Bldg. 6 clinic.

Flu season is here. The best way to avoid catching the flu is to get vaccinated. Germs spread fast, especially around the workplace. Protect yourself and others by getting the flu shot.

City of Tucson employees enrolled in the City's Cigna medical plan can get free shots at 10 worksite locations starting in late October and during the month of November.

Make Your Appointment!    (and see a list of locations, dates and times)

The feedback received last year was, "The wait time was too long, and some locations ran out of shots".  This year, to ensure that you receive excellent service, flu shots are BY APPOINTMENTHere is a listing of location dates, times, and appointment sign-up information(Walk-ins may be accepted toward the end of each clinic, subject to availability.)

Bring YOUR Cigna ID card (Must show that your Cigna plan is through City of Tucson) AND

Bring your employee ID badge or other government-issued photo ID card (Name on photo ID MUST MATCH name on Cigna ID)

If your ID doesn't meet the above criteria, or if you bring ID that isn't yours, we apologize - you will not be able to receive a flu shot at the onsite clinics.

* This shot covers three flu strains, not four and does contain preservatives.

NOTE: You are also able to get vaccinated through your network physician or Walgreen's Take Care Clinics and CVS Minute Clinics.  A number of pharmacies also participate, and if they file your claim as "medical" instead of "pharmacy", you should have little or no cost.  Please contact CIGNA's Customer Service at 1-800-244-6224 to find a network location.
