A deposit may be required based on estimated weight of load and all residential loads over 10,000 pounds.

Cash Commercial loads will require a deposit on all loads based on weight.

Deposit amount is based on 40% of gross weight at inbound scale, all HOLDs on cards are released when weighing out and the customer's bank is responsible for releasing any credit card deposits.

Rates

  • Covered load less than 2000 pounds - $15 (Some form of containment and cover over the load to prevent flying debris. Tarps, blankets and sheets accepted.)
  • Any covered load more than 2000 pounds - $35 per ton
  • Uncovered loads will be charged an additional $5
  • Tires, $2 each (limit of 10 tires, passenger tires only), in addition to any other applicable fees
  • Special handling, $42/ton with $75 minimum
  • Large carcass disposal, $75/ton with $75 minimum
  • Disposal of appliances designed to use refrigerant, $5 per appliance, in addition to other applicable fees

Accepted Waste

  • Green waste (i.e. yard trimmings)
  • Wooden pallets
  • Mattresses
  • Furniture
  • Rugs
  • Concrete/asphalt
  • Construction debris
  • Mobile homes (For specific information and guidelines call 520-791-4183)
  • Animal carcasses (For specific information and guidelines call 520-791-4183)

Non-acceptable Waste

  • Explosives
  • Ammunition
  • Regulated hazardous waste
  • Regulated polychlorinated biphenyl (PCB)
  • Universal waste
  • Regulated radioactive materials
  • Bulk liquids
  • Raw septage
  • Intact automobiles
  • Lead acid batteries
  • Waste oil
  • Any wastes prohibited by Federal, State of Arizona statute or regulation or City policy.
