Lincoln Softball Field

Rain-Out Hotline (520-837-8110)

The Rain Out Hotline for field conditions is updated every time there are field closures in the City due to weather, emergency maintenance issues, or any other unforeseen events. The Hotline is available 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. Messages cannot be left on the Hotline. If you have questions regarding the closures please call the Sports Unit at (520) 791-4870 during business hours.

For field issues call our after hours resource line (after 6 p.m.) 311.

Sports Field Use and Fees

  • All athletic field reservations are through the Sports Office at (520) 791-4870.
  • Tournament requests - please read over the requirements in our application, and return it to the sports office at sportsunit@tucsonaz.gov
  • All tournament and longstanding league rentals must provide the sports office with a $2 million dollar liability insurance policy (view the Insurance Requirements here(PDF, 757KB) )

    Track & Field

    Tucson Parks and Recreation will be hosting the annual Summer Track and Field events every Tuesday in June and July.

    Events will include long jump, high jump, turbo javelin, shot put (ages 14 and older), softball throw (ages 13 and under), 100-, 200- and 400-meter dashes, 800-, 1600-, 4 x 100 relay, and 4 x 400 relay. Ribbons will be given to the top three finishers at each track and field meet.

    Cost: $3/youth (17 years and younger); $4/adults (18 years and older)
    Time: Registration begins at 6:30 p.m.; meet begins at 7 p.m.
    Dates: Every Tuesday, June 4-July 30
    Location: Drachman Stadium, 501 S. Plumer Ave.

    Road Races

    Road Races

    Events will include: 1-mile predict, 2K, and 5K. Ribbons will be given to the top three finishers at each road race.

    Cost: $3/youth (17 years and younger); $4/adults (18 years and older)

    Time: Registration begins at 5:30 p.m.; races start at 6 p.m.

    Women's Fastpitch Softball

    Tucson Parks and Recreation is hosting a women’s Fastpitch Softball League this summer. The league consists of players ages 16 and older and will run May 29-Aug. 7. The regular season will be 8 weeks with a single elimination tournament to determine the league champion.

    Registration: April 5-May 17 at EZEEreg.com
    League Dates: Wednesday, between 6-10 p.m., from May 29-July 31
    Location: CSM Martin R. "Gunny" Barreras Memorial Park, 5890 S Campbell Ave
    Women: Ages 15+
    Cost: $400/team

     

    City Slowpitch Softball League

    Tucson Parks and Recreation is hosting a Slowpitch Softball League this fall. The league consists of players ages 15 and older in three divisions: coed, women's, and men's. The league will run Aug. 5 - Nov. 8, 2024. The regular season will be 10 weeks with a single elimination tournament to determine the league champion.

    If you don't have a team, join the free agent list above.

    Registration: June 1 - July 19
    Dates: Aug. 5 - Nov. 8, 2024
    Days: Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays between 6-10 p.m.
    Locations: Lincoln Regional Park and/or Todd Harris Sports Complex
    Cost: $320/team
