Lincoln Softball Field

Rain-Out Hotline (520-837-8110)

The Rain Out Hotline for field conditions is updated every time there are field closures in the City due to weather, emergency maintenance issues, or any other unforeseen events. The Hotline is available 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. Messages cannot be left on the Hotline. If you have questions regarding the closures please call the Sports Unit at (520) 791-4870 during business hours.

For field issues call our after hours resource line (after 6 p.m.) 311.

Sports Field Use and Fees

  • All athletic field reservations are through the Sports Office at (520) 791-4870.
  • Tournament requests - please read over the requirements in our application, and return it to the sports office at sportsunit@tucsonaz.gov
  • All tournament and longstanding league rentals must provide the sports office with a $2 million dollar liability insurance policy (view the Insurance Requirements here(PDF, 757KB) )

    Indoor Volleyball

    Join our Indoor Volleyball League! The season is 8-weeks long with a single elimination tournament at the end. Referees are provided. 

    Ages: 16+
    Dates: Aug. 26-Nov. 18
    Time: 6:30-8:30 p.m.
    Location: Randolph Recreation Center, 200 S. Alvernon Way
    Cost: $315 per team, $35 per free agent

    Women's Fastpitch Softball

    Tucson Parks and Recreation is hosting a women’s Fastpitch Softball League this summer. The league consists of players ages 16 and older and will run May 29-Aug. 7. The regular season will be 8 weeks with a single elimination tournament to determine the league champion.

    Registration: April 7-May 23, 2025
    League Dates: Wednesday, between 6-10 p.m., from June 4-Aug. 13
    Location: CSM Martin R. "Gunny" Barreras Memorial Park, 5890 S Campbell Ave
    Women: Ages 16+
    Cost: $400/team

     

    City Slowpitch Softball League

    Tucson Parks and Recreation is hosting a Slowpitch Softball League this fall. The league consists of players ages 16 and older in three divisions: coed, women's, and men's. The regular season will be 10 weeks with a single elimination tournament to determine the league champion.

    Dates: August 11 - October 16, 2025
    Days: Mondays (co-ed competitive advanced*), Tuesdays (co-ed competitive basic*), Wednesdays (coed recreational*), and Thursdays (men's league and women's league*)
    Time: 6:30-9:30 p.m.
    Locations: Todd Harris Sports Complex, 2400 S. Craycroft Road
    Cost: $350/team; $25 free agent

     

     

    Track & Field

    Tucson Parks and Recreation will be hosting the annual Summer Track and Field events every Tuesday in June and July.

    Events will include:

    • Long Jump (ages 6 and up)
    • High Jump (ages 10 and up)
    • Turbo Javelin (ages 13 and under)
    • 50-Meter Dash (ages 5 and under)
    • 100-, 200-, and 400-Meter Dashes (all ages)
    • 800- and 1600-Meter Runs (all ages)
    • 4x100 Relay and 4x400 Relay (all ages)

    Awards:
    Ribbons will be awarded to the top three finishers at each track and field meet.

    Cost: $3/youth (17 years and younger); $4/adults (18 years and older)
    Time: Registration begins at 5:30 p.m.; Field events begin at 6:30 p.m., Running races begin at 7 p.m.
    Dates: Tuesdays, June 3-July 22, 2025
    Location: Drachman Stadium, 501 S. Plumer Ave.

    Events will include: 1-mile predict, 2K, and 5K. Ribbons will be given to the top three finishers at each road race.
