The Strategic Communication Division is responsible for the flow of internal and external communications. The division is made up of three sections including, Communications, Customer Service Representatives, and Sustainability.
Sustainability oversees environmental programs, helps the organization achieve sustainability goals, and advises on product and program development with a goal to create initiatives within the City of Tucson that reduce environmental damage.
The Communication section manages all internal and external communication for the department, including updates to websites, news releases, notification letters, media relations, graphics/videos, public outreach, social media posts and more. The section also responds to public records requests, constituent inquiries and assists with Mayor and Council presentations and responses.
