Tucson Zero Waste - Saturday, November 7

At our Zero Waste Collection Event, Saturday, March 28 over 490 vehicles rolled through to drop off items for reuse and recycling! From paper, electronics, and medications to books, clothing, medical equipment, and flags and bikes, Tucson showed up to keep waste out of the landfill.

• Lions Club - Eyeglasses 2358 glasses
• American Legion - Flags 437 flags
• Beacon - Shredding 6,405 pounds
• Friends of the Pima County Library - Books 5,860 pounds
• El Grupo - 73 bikes
• Treasures 4 Teachers Tucson - Craft & school supplies 280 pounds
• Iskashitta - Canning jars & garden tools 500 pounds
• Recyco - Scrap metal 2,000 pounds
