Battalion Chief Patrick Quinn

Battalion Chief Patrick Quinn began his career with the Tucson Fire Department in 1985 and served proudly for 37 years. Throughout his career, Chief Quinn worked with the Hazardous Materials Response Team, performed a variety of roles in Fire Cause Investigation and Public Education, served as Deputy Chief of Emergency Management, and finally served as a battalion chief. He attended the National Fire Academy numerous times and loved teaching what he learned about fire cause investigation to new recruit classes within the department. Chief Quinn contracted glioblastoma as a result of his career with the department. He courageously fought the cancer for over three months but unfortunately passed away on March 2, 2025. Chief Quinn is survived by his wife, two sons, two daughters-in-law, and grandchildren.
