Construction of a new green stormwater infrastructure project began this week at Burns Park. The project includes a series of stormwater harvesting basins; new plantings including 49 new drought-tolerant, native trees; a designated walking path and open space; and a new irrigation system to support both new plants and existing mature trees. Construction completion is expected in January 2027.
