Park Improvements

Improvements are funded through Tucson Delivers Great Park voter-approved Proposition 407 bond funds. Construction is projected to be complete by the end of March 2025.

• Remodel restroom building to create two ADA accessible restrooms
  • Demolish existing interior including walls, floor, plumbing, and electric.
  • Install new electric service.
  • Install new underground plumbing and ADA compliant fixtures.
  • Install 2 new ADA compliant doors. The 2 doors into the existing south restrooms will be removed and the openings will be framed in and finished to match the existing surfaces.
• Remove 2 existing Desert Museum Palo Verdes on the north side of the restroom building and replace with Desert Willows.
• Remove 14 Oleanders from various locations within the park and replace with 13 Red Push Pistache Trees along the north-south 4th Avenue sidewalk alignment.
