Visitor and Employee Parking in Downtown, 4th Avenue, and Main Gate
Parking in the greater Downtown area (including 4th Avenue and Main Gate Square) and around the University of Arizona is easy and convenient. Park Tucson garages offer more than 3,000 covered spaces in parking garages and almost 1,000 spaces in surface lots. University of Arizona garages and lots offer public parking and all City of Tucson and UA garages and lots are within walking distance of the Sun Link Streetcar.
There are also more than 1,000 on-street metered spaces in Downtown, more than 375 in the 4th Avenue Business District and Warehouse Arts District, and more than 200 in the University/Main Gate Square areas.

Parking Meters
Parking Meters are located throughout the business districts in the Sun Link Streetcar corridor and range from 1/2-hour to 6-hour time limits. Please note the time limit, which is indicated on both a nearby sign and the meter's LED display. The fine for parking in excess of the posted time limit is $42.
All meters are priced at $1.00/hour, and are enforced Monday - Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm. Metered parking spaces are free after 5:00pm on weekdays and all weekend. The citation fine for parking at an expired meter is $42.
Most meters are "smart" meters that accept payments by mobile app, coins, credit, debit, or Park Smart card. The Park Smart card is your own parking value card, loaded with a balance that is drawn down with each parking meter visit.

Garages and Surface Lots - Daily/Visitor Parking
Visitor parking is available in all six Park Tucson garages and all five Park Tucson surface parking lots. Monday to Friday, from 8:00am to 5:00pm, parking is charged hourly at $1.00/hour. Evenings and weekends, a flat rate for a 12-hour time period applies, either $3 or $5.
When you enter a garage, you will have the choice of pressing a green button to receive a ticket that you will use later to pay, or you may insert a credit or debit card directly. Your card will serve as your ticket, and in order to complete payment and exit the garage, you will need to insert the same card at the exit. If you lose the ticket that you receive at the entrance, you will need to pay a $10 Lost Ticket Fee.
Arriving and Departing during Different Pricing Periods? Parkers who arrive during the hourly pricing period and depart during a flat-rate pricing period, or vice-versa, will be charged the sum of the applicable rates for each period, up to a maximum of $13 Monday through Friday ($8 plus $5), or $10 on Saturday or Sunday ($5 plus $5).

- Visitors may enter and exit on the west side of the garage, from Manning House Way, which can be accessed from Congress Street and from Alameda St.
- Hourly Rate - $1.00 per hour, with the first hour free if you stay no longer than one hour. If you park 1-2 hours, the charge is $2; for 2-3 hours, the charge is $3; and so on.

Toole Avenue Parking Lot - 201 E. Toole Avenue
Monday - Friday, from 6:00am to 6:00pm:
- Restricted to Permit Parking Only in most spaces.
- Visitor parking is available at 4 parking meters near the lot entrance, $1.00/hour. Payment required at the metered spaces, Monday - Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm. Pay by coins, credit/debit cards, or through the GoTucson Parking mobile app.
Thursday - Saturday, 6:00pm to 6:00am:
- $5 fee
- Pay at machine near the accessible parking spaces close to Toole Avenue or with the GoTucson Parking mobile app.
- Your vehicle license plate identifies your vehicle for payment.
Triangle Parking Lot - 225 E. Pennington St.
Public parking is available, Monday to Friday, 6:00pm to 6:00am and on weekends 24 Hours.
Sunday to Thursday, $3 flat rate
Friday and Saturday, $5 flat rate
Payment is only accepted through the GoTucson Parking mobile app. Enter Zone 5205, and then your space number.
Franklin Street Parking Lot - 50 W. Franklin Street
Visitor parking is available at the10 parking meters on the east end of the lot. The meters are enforced for payment and time limit, Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm. Payment may be made by coins, credit/debit cards, or through the GoTucson Parking mobile app.
Weekend Rental for Special Events: $1/space Saturday and Sunday.
Historic Depot Lot - 400 N. Toole Ave.
Visitor parking is available 24/7 in the lot. Payment is required, Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm at the 43 metered spaces. Payment may be made by coins, credit/debit cards, or through the GoTucson Parking mobile app.
Paseo Redondo Parking Lot - 301 W. Paseo Redondo
Visitor parking is available at any of the 30 parking meters in the middle of the lot. The meters are enforced for payment and time limit, Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm. Payment may be made by coins, credit/debit cards, or through the GoTucson Parking mobile app.
The lot is available to Tucson Museum of Art guests, evenings and weekends.
