Guide to Monthly Service Charge

Fire Protection charges are related to unmetered fire sprinkler connections to the potable water system:

  • Based upon the connection size.
  • Takes into account the amount of water system capacity required for fire suppression.

Monthly Service Charge

Flat rate paid by customer, regardless of the amount of water used.

Adopted Rates and Fees Adjustment

On May 19, 2026, the City of Tucson approved an adjustment to water rates and fees for FY 2027-20230. The updated rates and fees took effect July 6, 2026.
