Residential High-efficiency Clothes Washer Rebate

Tucson Water single-family residential customers may be eligible for a high-efficiency clothes washer rebate. Installation address must have active Tucson Water service prior to purchasing and installing the product.

Rebate Details and Requirements

  • Receive a $200 rebate for replacing a top-load clothes washer. Must provide the model and serial number of the old machine you are replacing. If not provided, you will receive a $100 rebate.
  • Receive a $100 rebate for replacing and old front-load with a new front-load clothes washer.
  • $100 rebate available for new customers purchasing a qualifying product.
  • Rebate application must be submitted no later than 1 year after the purchase of the product.
  • Limited to one rebate per household. Customer may apply once every 5 years at the same location if purchase of subsequent washer is made 5 years after previous rebate approval.
  • Old machine must be removed and rendered inoperable.
  • Washer must be on qualifying product list.
  • Purchased product must be new and not below rebate amount.

The Consortium for Energy Efficiency (CEE) evaluates the efficiency of appliances for both water and energy use so that rebate programs and manufacturers can work together to offer efficient products. Tucson Water provides Clothes Washer Qualifying Product List of models that are water efficient, based on CEE criteria.
