About P-CHIP
P-CHIP organizes HCD’s work and investments around three interconnected areas: People, Communities, and Homes. Together, these priorities guide investments in residents’ well-being, stronger communities, and access to safe, quality, affordable housing.
Previously funded projects have supported food security, services for older adults, homelessness prevention, workforce development, homebuyer assistance, and home rehabilitation.
Organizations interested in applying can review the FY2028 P-CHIP Requests for Proposals for funding details, eligibility requirements, and application instructions. Applications will be submitted through the Neighborly application portal beginning October 27.
