The KIDCO and School's Out programs provide:
- A safe, comfortable place for children to be after school and during the summer.
- An opportunity for kids to express themselves through various art forms, sports, and special events.
- A place to practice physical fitness, experience healthy alternatives, and learn respect for the body.
- An environment that helps encourage listening and caring, and where positive values are reinforced.
- An opportunity to develop varied interests, practice recreational skills, and experience positive use of leisure time.
- A time for friendships and socializing.

KIDCO After School 2026-2027
Programming is available for ages 5-11 (must be currently enrolled in kindergarten) from the time of dismissal until 6 p.m. on all in-person learning days (excluding City holidays).
Locations will be viewable online beginning Friday, July 10.
Dates: Aug. 6, 2026-May 25, 2027
Cost: $675/school year for City residents or $1,012.50/school year for non-city residents
Registration: Saturday, July 25, at 8 a.m.
The Discount Program is available to city residents who qualify. Any discounts must be applied before registration.
KIDCO Summer 2026
Programming is available for ages 5-11 years old (must have completed kindergarten) in June and July, Monday-Friday from 7:30 a.m.-6 p.m.
Who: Ages 5-11 (must have completed kindergarten)
Dates: Session 1 – June 1-26 (closed June 19)
*Session 2 – June 29-24 (closed July 3)
*For TUSD site locations, session 2 will run June 29-July 17, 2026
Days/Time: Monday-Friday - 7:30 a.m.-6 p.m.
Cost: $125/city-resident or $157/non-city resident for a four-week session

Fall/Winter/Spring Breaks
School's Out Camps are offered at multiple sites throughout Tucson for children ages 5-11, or In-Betweeners Club for ages 12-14 during school breaks. The program at the William M. Clements Center will run during the Vail School District's breaks. Camp hours are 7:30 a.m.-6 p.m. Activities include games, sports, social interaction, dance, art projects, and nutrition-based learning activities.
