The pre-application conference is designed to assist the applicant by providing as much information as possible regarding City regulations and requirements and how they may affect the proposed project’s scope and design, prior to submission of a formal application. Pre-application conferences are an opportunity for applicants to receive initial comments on their development plans from multiple reviewers.

To schedule a pre-application conference, submit an application for a Pre-application Conference through the Tucson Development Center Online.
Staff will review the application for completeness within one working day of submittal and will notify the applicant of any deficiencies or needed corrections. Complete applications will be scheduled on the next available pre-application conference date. The applicant will receive an email of the meeting time and activity number to search on www.tucsonaz.gov/pro. The two most common types of pre-application conferences are:

The fee for a pre-application conference is $220 plus a digital filing fee of $16.50. An invoice for payment will be processed once the application has been reviewed for completeness. Payment must be received before the meeting is scheduled.
