Fingerprinting

Court-ordered and public fingerprinting services are available by appointment only. Walk-ins are not accepted.

Persons applying for an IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card need to wait for a blue postage-paid return envelope that contains fingerprint cards from the Arizona Department of Public Safety (DPS) before coming in to be fingerprinted.

Bring payment. TPD charges $10 per fingerprint card and accepts cash, checks, and major credit cards. There is no charge for people who were arrested, cited, and released; for people getting fingerprinted for a business license; or for people who are Tucson Police Department applicants or contractors.

If you are being fingerprinted because you were arrested, cited, and released, bring the pink form the officer or judge gave you, your citation or court paperwork, and photo ID.

The courts are aware of the lengthy wait times for an appointment. If your court date is before the next available appointment, make your appointment and take a copy of your confirmation to your court appearance.

See below to set up an appointment online or by phone. If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please call TPD at 520-791-4697 or click the link in your confirmation email to change an appointment you made online.
