Impact Fees Report
A.R.S. § 9-463.05(D)(3), requires cities to update their Land Use Assumptions (LUAs), Infrastructure Improvements Plans (IIPs), and make necessary adjustments to impact fee schedules at least every five years. The City’s Development Impact Fees program was last updated on June 9, 2020. This year the City engaged TischlerBise as consultants to assist City staff in preparing the necessary updates to Development Impact Fee Program Reports for Mayor and Council consideration.
In compliance with statutory requirements, Phase One of the Development Fee Program focused on updating the Land Use Assumptions (LUA) and Infrastructure Improvements Plan (IIP) Reports. The scheduled timeline is as follows:
On March 18, 2025, the Mayor and Council adopted the Land Use Assumptions (LUA) and Infrastructure Improvements Plan (IIP) Reports.
Phase Two of the update involves presenting the Draft Fees Report, conducting a public hearing, and finalizing the adoption of the Fees Report. The planned schedule is as follows:
