This new 42-acre park is considered a metro park. Metro park amenities typically include lighted athletic fields, splash pad, sports courts, a dog park, a skate park, and/or walking paths. This park is planned to have 8-lit rectangular fields (soccer, football, rugby, lacrosse). This master planning process will help to determine what other amenities the community desires in this park.

A survey was open through May 19, 2024, asking the community what they want to see at this park. Based on the community's feedback, we will come back with a draft concept plan to present and gather additional feedback.

It's important to note that we do not have funding to build this park plan completely, but rather it will serve as a tool for future projects as funding becomes available. In addition, it will serve as a tool to help the department go after grants and other funding sources.
