Patrons of the ARC

PARC's Vision: Increased adaptive recreation opportunities in our community.

The Patrons of the Adaptive Recreation Center (PARC) is a non-profit 501 (c) (3) organization whose mission is to support the Edith Ball Adaptive Recreation Center and the expansion of inclusive/adaptive facilities. It was incorporated in 2003 to enhance the quality of life for all by supporting recreational and leisure services for children and adults with disabilities in inclusive settings in our community.

PARC operates as a private organization guided by a volunteer Board of Directors.

Please Be Involved! We need your financial support and/or your time.

Donations to PARC in any amount are greatly appreciated. Funds enable us to provide support to programs, provide equipment and facility improvements, training of staff and other identified needs.

PARC is now a State of Arizona Department of Revenue “Qualified Charitable Organization”. This means that donations to PARC can be claimed on your Arizona State taxes. Donations for Arizona State taxes are due by April 15.

How to Donate:

Send checks made out to Patrons of the Adaptive Recreation Center, 900 S. Randolph Way, Tucson, AZ 85716. Indicate that it is a donation for the Arizona tax credit. Include your name and address so a receipt can be mailed to you for your tax submittal.

Examples of past support include:

  • Play equipment at Edith Ball Adaptive Recreation Center
  • Shade structure at the Therapeutic Recreation Center
  • Water transport and exercise equipment for the Edith Ball Center
  • Aquatic therapy training for the Edith Ball Center and also for citywide staff

PARC is looking for volunteers who would be interested in serving on the Board of Directors or on one of the standing or special committees.
