City of Tucson SolarApp Transition

Planning and Development Services is excited to share an important update regarding our SolarApp services. On June 1, 2024, we will transition from the Pima County SolarApp to the City of Tucson’s own SolarApp.

Our team has worked diligently with Pima County to ensure this transition is smooth and seamless. There should be no disruption to your service during this period. The City of Tucson’s own SolarApp mirrors Pima County, so you may not notice a difference in the interface or functionality.  The only difference is that everything will go through your Tucson Development Center (TDC) Online account instead of the County permitting system.

What to Expect:

  • Near seamless transition: Our technical team has ensured that the switch will happen without interrupting your service
  • Inspections run through TDC Online instead of Pima County’s permitting system

We appreciate your patience and understanding as we make this transition on June 1, 2024. We look forward to continuing to serve your solar needs with the City of Tucson’s SolarApp.
