The City of Tucson's Planning and Development Services Department (PDSD) is excited to announce the launch of an innovative decision tree designed to direct customers to the correct permit type before they apply. Integrated into Tucson Development Center (TDC) Online, TDC Online Navigator is a tool that aims to enhance the customer experience by simplifying the permit application process.
TDC Online Navigator Features:
"We are thrilled to offer TDC Online Navigator to our community," PDSD Director Kristina Swallow said. "This tool is designed to make the permit application process more intuitive and less time-consuming, ensuring our customers can confidently find and apply for the correct permits."
Although the initial launch of TDC Online Navigator is geared towards individuals who may have less experience applying for permits, future updates will expand the library of materials available to all customers.
The new TDC Online Navigator will be available to customers on Monday, July 1, 2024.
PDSD encourages users to provide feedback on their experience with TDC Online Navigator by emailing pdsdinquiries@tucsonaz.gov. Your input will help us improve the tool and better serve our community.
TDC Online is a self-service portal that provides customers with a complete online process. The system functions as a one-stop shop for customers seeking permits across the City of Tucson. It provides customers transparency throughout the permitting process with email notifications and a personal dashboard to track applications from submittal to issuance. Customers can make real-time payments, schedule inspections, and create templates for frequently used applications.
