Road Closures - Tucson March for Life 2024

On Saturday, January 20, 2024, beginning at 6 a.m., the following road and lane closures will be in place for Tucson March for Life 2024. 

  • The northbound right lane on Church Avenue will be closed from McCormick Street to Franklin Street
  • Franklin Street will be closed from Church Avenue to Stone Avenue
  • The northbound right lane on Stone Avenue will be closed from Franklin Street/Toole Avenue to University Boulevard
  • The northbound right lane on Main Avenue/Oracle Road will be closed from University Boulevard to Navajo Road

All roadways are scheduled to reopen by approximately noon the same day.

This four-mile march will begin near the St. Augustine Cathedral on Church Avenue and will end at the Holy Hope Cemetery. Please see the below map for a more detailed layout of the route.

Law enforcement officers will be on site to direct travel around the event. Motorists driving in the area can expect traffic delays associated with this event, plan accordingly. The traveling public should use caution when driving, bicycling or walking in this area. Please watch for event participants, obey all traffic control, and watch for detour signs and personnel providing traffic control.
