Components of Your Water Bill

Monthly Service Charge

This monthly fee recovers the cost of meter reading, maintenance, and replacement, billing, pipeline maintenance, and public fire protection. It is charged regardless of the amount of water used.

Volumetric Charge

All reclaimed water usage is charged at $2.51/CCF.

This rate is charge per 100 cubic feet (CCF) of water used, or 748 gallons. See tips on how to read your water meter.

Taxes

Taxes are charged based on the municipality that customers live in and are not revenues of Tucson Water. The total tax charged is based on a combination of State, County, and local municipal tax rates as outlined below:
