Ward 6 Council Member Miranda Schubert and Tucson Parks and Recreation invite the community to celebrate the grand reopening of Armory Park, 222 S. Fifth Ave., on Thursday, July 2, beginning at 6 p.m. Please plan to bring a blanket or chair to sit and enjoy the performances throughout the evening.
Activity Schedule
Additionally, the Children's Museum pay-what-you-can Discovery Night is across the street from 5-7pm, making this an all-ages and family-friendly evening with a little something for everyone.
"We are incredibly excited to welcome the community back to our new and improved Armory Park," said Ward 6 Council Member Schubert. "This park was already an incredibly special place for Tucson, and now, with new shade structures and picnic tables, updated amenities, and intentional programming, it will offer even more local residents, families, older adults - and their pets - a place to relax, recreate, and be in community."
