Christopher Columbus
This park, formerly named Silverbell Park, was named after Christopher Columbus in 1990. The Tucson chapter of the Knights of Columbus initiated the renaming effort in anticipation of the international celebration of the 500-year anniversary of Columbus' arrival in the New World.
