Time is Running Out to Register for Point-in-Time Count

The Tucson Pima Collaboration to End Homelessness (TPCH) seeks volunteers for the 2026 Point-in-Time (PIT) Count, known as "Everyone Counts!," on Wednesday, Jan. 28, from 6-11 a.m., across Pima County. Volunteer registration is now open. TPCH needs more than 500 community volunteers to support this annual communitywide effort.

'Tis the Season to TreeCycle

If you still have your fresh-cut Christmas tree, Tucson's "TreeCycle" program is available to help you turn your tree into something greener after the holidays. You can take it off its stand and strip off all the lights, tinsel, and other decorations and drop off your bare tree at one of the many TreeCycle locations to help create compost. The program continues through Monday, Jan. 19.

Operation Deep Freeze

Operation Deep Freeze (ODF) is Tucson's winter severe-weather emergency shelter for people experiencing homelessness. When ODF goes into effect, a limited number of overflow shelter beds are available for people seeking safe shelter from the weather. This notice does not mean ODF is on, please check the current status from the Tucson Pima Collaboration to End Homelessness (TPCH).

Tucson Expands Housing Options with Middle Housing Code Amendment
